So my idea for a foolproof grocery delivery system backfired badly
I set up auto-delivery for groceries every Monday to save time. But the app glitched and sent double orders last week. Ended up with too much food that went bad (so much for saving money). Learned that automating things without regular checks can backfire. What's your worst delivery story?

Hold on, your app GLITCHED and doubled the orders? That is absolutely WILD to me! All that food going bad must have been so frustrating, especially when you were trying to save money. I had a delivery mix-up once where they brought my neighbor's groceries to me, and it was a whole mess trying to sort it out. It makes you realize that setting things on auto-pilot without watching them can really backfire. Your point about regular checks is SPOT ON. Sometimes the convenience just isn't worth the headache.

Remember the neighbor's groceries story is the best case scenario. At least that food got eaten by someone. The real horror is when the app just ghosts you and the whole order, doubles and all, shows up at your door to rot. Makes you miss the old days of just forgetting your list at home. That was a cheaper mistake.

Honestly I still think the convenience wins most days.
