My plan to find a quiet cafe in Portland ended with a goat on the roof

I picked a spot from a blog, but when I got there a full grown goat was just chilling on the roof, bleating at everyone. So much for a calm work session. Has anyone else had a plan totally wrecked by a random animal?

Honestly, the universe just loves to mess with a simple plan, doesn't it? Like you try to do one normal thing and suddenly you're in a nature documentary.

Try to have a quiet lunch at a park once and a squirrel launched a full-scale assault on my sandwich. It wasn't even a casual theft, it was a tactical grab-and-go from my actual hand. My plan for a peaceful meal turned into me yelling at a rodent while covered in mustard. So yeah, I feel your pain (though a roof goat does sound like a major upgrade, honestly).

Read about a cafe in Seattle that has a llama out back, so maybe roof goats are a new trend lol.
