I thought my buddy was crazy for paying a guy under the table to fix his deck, but now I'm not so sure.

Got a quote last year for a simple deck, just pressure treated lumber. The number was so high I almost fell off my own porch. Suddenly that cordless drill and circular saw looked like a solid investment.
