Replace it, like, yesterday. That stuff's pricey for a reason, man. You gotta fess up and get a new bottle for your buddy, even if it stings. Using it without asking is a big deal, especially for a hobby where good glue matters. Just own the mistake (we've all been there, sort of) and make it right.

Have you thought about offering to help with their next project too? It could smooth things over more than just a replacement.
