Walked into a new med spa in Tempe and their LED mask station looked like a biohazard zone

The cords were all tangled on the floor and the mask lenses had visible smudges. How do you even run a business like that?

Wait, visible smudges on the lenses? That's the part that gets me. You're putting that directly on your face. How do they not wipe it down between clients? That's just basic cleanliness. I'd turn around and walk right back out the door. What if the last person had a skin infection or something?

Totally get that, it's honestly nasty. I started bringing my own lens wipes to places after seeing that once. Now I just clean them myself before putting anything on.

Laura's point about skin infections is exactly why this is so bad. It's not just messy, it's a real health risk. I'd be worried about catching something from the last person, which totally defeats the point of going somewhere for skin care. That kind of neglect makes you wonder what else they're cutting corners on behind the scenes. I'd definitely leave and probably look up how to report them.
