Just read a study that said 40% of people think chemical peels are only for wrinkles
I was looking at a research paper from the University of Michigan's dermatology department, and it said a huge chunk of clients don't know peels help with acne and texture too. I found it when I was trying to find some stats to make a new info sheet for my waiting room. How do you guys make sure your clients understand what treatments actually do?

Spot on about the info sheets. I put big before and after photos right on the front desk showing acne and texture results, not just wrinkles. We also have a quick video that plays in the waiting area showing the whole process for different skin issues. I find people need to SEE the problem getting fixed, not just read about it.

Doubt everyone needs the full show. I mean, sometimes people just want a quick fix without all the drama. Maybe it's just me but that much proof feels like overkill.

Honestly, is it really that serious though? I get that some places go all out with the before and after stuff, but do people really need a whole video and info sheets for a skin treatment? Sounds like they're trying to sell something more than just fixing a problem. Tbh, if I walked in and saw that much effort, I'd be weirded out - feels like they're trying too hard to prove something. Ngl, most people just want a simple result, not a entire marketing campaign handed to them at the front desk. Maybe it's just me, but that level of proof screams "we're hiding something" more than it inspires confidence.
