Spent $400 on a new headset for the hoistway intercom and it's a game changer.
The old one kept cutting out on high floors, making it tough to hear the guys in the pit. This new one has noise canceling and a way better mic, so we can actually talk while the car is moving. Anyone else upgrade their comms gear recently and have a brand they like?

Absolutely, a clear intercom makes all the difference! We had the same problem with garbled calls from the upper floors. After what @grace_perry44 said, we finally swapped ours out too. Now we can actually get a full message without repeating ourselves three times. It's crazy how much smoother the job runs when you can just talk normally.
