The best mud pan I ever used was a cheap one from a yard sale
Found it in a box of tools in Tacoma about 3 years ago, and the curve on the side is just perfect for my wrist. Anyone know where to find a similar style new, or am I stuck hunting flea markets forever?

My buddy found his favorite pan the same way, at a garage sale.

Wasn't it weird to buy used cookware? I always wanted new stuff until I grabbed a cast iron skillet for a few bucks. That thing cooks better than anything I've ever bought in a store. What's the best thing you've found secondhand?

Oh man, totally! My best find was this old metal bread box at a thrift store. It's got this faded paint of wheat stalks on it, and it actually keeps bread fresh for days. I just liked how it looked, but it turned out to be super useful.
