Spent $450 on a cordless drywall screw gun and it cut my install time in half on a big Reno job.

You really think that's a smart buy for most people? That's a huge chunk of change for a tool that only does one thing. Most DIYers or even small contractors don't do enough drywall to make it worth it. It's just another expensive gadget taking up space in the van. A good drill with a dimpler bit gets the job done fine for way less money.

Man I used to think those were a total waste of money. Like, a drill does the job, right? But I borrowed one from a buddy on a big ceiling job and holy crap. The auto-feed and depth control just makes it fly. It’s one of those things you don’t get until you try it, now I’m saving up for my own lol.

My old cordless drill took me 45 minutes to put up 20 drywall sheets. Rented a screw gun for a bathroom remodel last year and did the same work in maybe 15. @lane.joel, you're totally right about that auto-feed, it's a game changer for your wrist on a big job.
