Just realized I've logged 500 hours on the old 8-inch cutterhead dredge this season
Honestly, I only noticed because the maintenance log was full. Anyone else ever get surprised by a number like that?

Check the math on that again. Five hundred hours is like working a full time job for three months straight. That's a wild amount of time on one machine.

@laurar38 is right to call that out. 500 hours is no joke, no matter how you slice it. Rosebennett's point about leaving it on is fair, but even if 100 of those hours are background noise, you're still looking at 400 hours of actual play. That's more than some people put into their jobs in a year. I get that people get attached to a game, but that number sticks out to me. It feels like something worth paying attention to, not brushing off.

Yeah but what if they're not playing it all at once? I mean, some people leave games running in the background for days. They might just have it on while doing other stuff, like having the TV on for noise. So the actual play time could be way less, it's just the machine being on. Idk, maybe it's just me but I've done that before.
