TIL our local tech school dropped its drafting program last year.
I found out when a neighbor's kid asked me for advice on getting into the field. Now I'm mentoring him with old textbooks and sketches. How are others helping new people learn without formal classes?

Our local trade school cut their welding program two years ago. I see more people now teaching skills in garages or over video calls. It's a common workaround for lost trade classes.
