Just realized I was overcomplicating my title block setup
For years, I set up every new drawing file from scratch, manually typing in the title block info each time. It felt like the 'right' way to do it, even though it took 10 minutes per job. Then, a guy at a training session in Kansas City said he just uses a template with fields linked to custom sheet set properties. I tried it on a small garage project last week. I made one master template, and now starting a new sheet takes about 30 seconds because all the job info fills in automatically from the project data. It felt like cheating at first, but it's just smart. I can't believe I wasted so much time. Has anyone else set up a system like this, and what info do you link to your title blocks?

Remember when I hand-drew borders?

Doesn't it seem like the more we rely on technology for everything, the more we miss the small creative touches that made things feel personal? That hand-drawn look had a charm you just don't get with a computer.
