Call me stubborn, but I still draft section views without relying on 3D cutaways

Everyone says 3D models make section views easy, but I find drawing them by hand improves my understanding of the assembly. It forces me to think through each layer, which catches issues early. Might take a minute longer, but my prints are cleaner.

You said it forces you to think through each layer... but that's exactly what a good 3D section cut does too, it just does the linework for you.

Yeah, but the manual drawing makes you solve problems the 3D cut just shows you. You catch weird clashes you'd otherwise miss until later.
