A client asked for a blueprint on a napkin and I almost took it seriously.

Honestly, the absurd request made me realize I prefer quick sketches over formal drafts for first meetings. Most drafters would call me crazy, but it cuts the talk and gets to the point.

Bro called it the ultimate test, that's insane.

Napkin blueprints are the ultimate test of a good idea. If it doesn't fit there, it probably shouldn't be built.

Hold up, I gotta push back a little. The napkin test is great for a core concept, but some really complex, good ideas need more room to breathe. Ben_gibson might be onto something calling it "the ultimate test" a bit much. A simple sketch can't always capture the needed details for something big, you know? It's a solid starting filter, but not the only one.
