Hot take: using old rain gutters for garden tool storage actually works

I mean, I saw my neighbor in Phoenix do it last spring and thought it looked kinda janky. But after 8 months, his shed is still totally organized and all his rakes are off the floor. Anyone have a better way to hang long-handled stuff without drilling a ton of holes?

You said "without drilling a ton of holes"... but you still have to mount the gutter to the wall. That's basically the same amount of holes as a simple rack. The real trick is finding the studs once.

Totally get what you're saying lol. I tried to put up some shelves last month and finding the studs was a nightmare. Ended up with so many extra holes from the stud finder being wrong. Mounting anything is the worst part of any project.
