Appreciation post: My friend's garage in Denver completely changed how I see pegboard

He had everything from his drill bits to his socket wrenches outlined with paint pens, and I could find a 10mm in under 5 seconds. Anyone have other fast-access systems for small tools that aren't just a messy drawer?

Totally get that feeling. I went with clear plastic bins on a shelf for all my small hardware... nails, screws, that kind of thing. Labeled each bin with a marker so I can just grab what I need without digging. It saves so much time on small projects.

Pro tip, put the labels on the side of the bins too, so you can read them without pulling everything out.
