I repainted my kitchen cabinets in 3 days but the real change was the $60 drawer pulls

My cabinets looked fine but always felt off until I swapped those cheap plastic handles for some simple brushed nickel pulls from the hardware store in Austin. It was like getting a totally new kitchen for under sixty bucks and about an hour of screwing them in. The old handles were so worn down you could barely grip them, but I never noticed until I saw the new ones side by side. Anyone else have a small hardware swap that made way more difference than you expected?

Did you notice any weird screw holes from the old ones that didn't line up?

My friend tried swapping some handles at their place and half the screws didn't match up, so they just left the old ones in with new handles on top. It looked goofy but they never looked at it twice.
