Picked up a used tool chest off Craigslist last month. Paid $150.

Guy in the next town over was clearing out his dad's garage. Old Snap-on chest from the 80s. Few dents. Drawers stick a bit. But for what I paid? Total steal. Had to rent a truck from Home Depot for $20 to haul it. Worth it. Anyone else find good deals on beat up old boxes?

Ngl, sounds like a lot of hassle for a toolbox.

Honestly @william816, I used to think the same thing. Hard pass on anything that looked like extra work for a simple tool. But then I borrowed a buddy's setup for a weekend and it completely flipped my perspective. You don't realize how much time you waste digging through drawers until you have everything right there in front of you. Tbh it's one of those things that seems pointless until you actually use it, then you wonder how you got by without it. Ngl I'm not saying everyone needs one but it changed my mind for sure.
