I finally tried using a heat gun to strip paint off an old metal cabinet

It worked way faster than chemical stripper, but it also warped a thin panel on the side. I learned that heat guns need a super light touch on sheet metal. Anyone have a good fix for a slightly buckled panel, or should I just replace it?

That "super light touch" lesson is a tough one to learn the hard way.

Read a story about a guy who micromanaged his team into the ground. They all quit within a month. Sometimes the best move is to just step back and let people work.

Hold up, is micromanaging really that bad? People quit jobs for way bigger reasons than a boss checking in too much. Maybe the team just couldn't handle clear direction. Sometimes a manager needs to be hands on, especially if the work is new or complex. Letting people just "work" sounds nice but can lead to bigger messes. Not every tight ship sinks because of the captain.
