Warning: I spent $300 on a cheap tile saw for a bathroom job and it almost cost me double that in ruined material.

The blade wobble was so bad it chipped every single edge on the subway tile, forcing me to buy a whole new batch and rent a proper saw to finish the job.

Watched my neighbor do the same thing with a cheap drill. It's always the tools that seem like a deal that end up costing you more.

Totally agree about cheap tools being a trap. My uncle bought a bargain bin socket set that rounded off every bolt it touched. Ended up having to call a real mechanic, which cost way more than a good set would have. Sometimes you don't know how bad a tool is until it breaks your stuff.
