I used to cut drywall with a utility knife and a straightedge. Now I use a rotary cutter. When did you switch tools for a basic task?

Your buddy Dave cut in ceilings with an angled brush? For years? That sounds like torture. My hand is cramping just thinking about it. A straight trim brush is the only way to go for a clean line. How did he even manage that?

Oh man, my buddy Dave just went through this with painting. He swore by his old angled brush for cutting in ceilings for years, even as his hand would cramp up. Then he saw someone use a straight trim brush on a job and tried it on a whim. He said it was like night and day, way cleaner lines with less effort. He kicked himself for not switching sooner. What's a tool you stuck with for way too long?

Reminds me of my neighbor who used a manual screwdriver for every little thing. He finally got a cordless drill last year and said it felt like entering the modern age.
