Warning: that new silicone seal on my dishwasher door started peeling after 3 months
I got a fancy replacement gasket from Amazon back in July. Felt nice, fit tight. Now there's a flap peeling off on the bottom left corner. Water is puddling under the machine again. Anyone had better luck with the OEM parts instead of the cheap knockoffs?

Stick with OEM, knockoffs always fail faster.

Oh absolutely, because spending twice the money on a part that does the exact same thing is just good common sense. My brother bought an OEM alternator for his truck, paid through the nose for it, and it croaked in 14 months. Meanwhile the "knockoff" from the auto parts store down the street has been humming along in my old sedan for three years with zero issues. Maybe I just got lucky, but I've learned to read the reviews and not just go by the brand name. Sometimes the cheap stuff is actually fine, and sometimes the fancy stuff is overpriced garbage.
