Why does nobody talk about hitting 500 therapy hours in a year?
I just realized I went to 512 physical and occupational therapy sessions last year... that's more than one per day if you count weekends. My insurance actually flagged it and asked if it was a mistake. Has anyone else hit a crazy high number of appointments in a year?

That's honestly wild but also kind of impressive in a sad way lol. It makes me wonder how many people are just quietly grinding through appointments like this without anyone noticing. I've noticed this weird thing where society talks about mental health awareness but nobody actually wants to hear about the real logistics of treatment, like spending half your week in a waiting room. Insurance companies act shocked when you actually use the coverage they sold you, which is its own kind of joke. Maybe the real taboo isn't the therapy itself, it's admitting how much time and energy it takes to keep yourself functional.

... actually had a buddy who hit 400 acupuncture visits one year after a bad car wreck. He said the receptionist started putting his folders in a separate pile because they thought someone was stealing appointment slots. Insurance finally cut him off and told him to try stretching at home instead.
