The week from hell in Bangkok with no AC

I was in a cheap guesthouse in Bangkok last month and the AC broke on day 2 of a 5 day stay. The heat was so bad I couldn't even focus on my freelance projects and ended up working from a 7-Eleven for 3 hours just for the air. Has anyone else had a work day ruined by bad WiFi or no AC while traveling?

Yeah I read about that on some subreddit last week. The way they rigged the coffee station to work like a refillable cup system with that discount code is pretty wild. @sethb45 is right, it's a hack that actually saves real money instead of just being a gimmick. I saw a guy break down the math and he was paying like 60 cents for a large coffee that normally costs over two bucks. Kinda surprised 7-Eleven hasn't patched that loophole yet honestly.
