Coworking pass vs cafe hopping in Chiang Mai for 3 months, coworking won easily
I tried bouncing between cafes for my first month here and spent $4 on drinks I didn't want just to use the wifi, then switched to a coworking membership for $150 a month and got way more work done. Has anyone else found that paying for a proper desk beats the coffee shop grind?

The $4 drink tax is real, I wasted so much money on overpriced matcha I didn't even want just to camp out. $150 a month is steep but way cheaper than buying 30 coffees you don't need and getting half your work done on a sticky table.

Oh I don't know about that. I see this argued a lot but that $4 drink tax adds up way faster than people realize. If you go three times a week for a month that's almost $50 on drinks you didn't even want, plus the actual cost of the coffee. I'd rather just work from my kitchen table and spend that money on something I actually enjoy, like a nice lunch out or a new book. The sticky table problem is real though, I'll give you that.
