Co-living vs apartment hopping in Chiang Mai for 6 months
I tried both last year and co-living beat apartment hopping by a mile. Spent 3 months at a co-living space for $350 a month including bills and wifi, then 3 months bouncing between short term apartments that averaged $500 total with constant setup headaches. The worst part was hunting for stable internet every time I moved, I lost 2 full work days each switch. Has anyone else found co-working memberships worth the extra cash for the same reliability?

Oh man, co-living is the way to go for sure. But your point about internet is what gets me - losing 2 days each switch sounds brutal. What was the actual internet speed like at the co-living place compared to the apartments you bounced between? I'm wondering if the reliability is worth paying extra for a coworking membership on top of rent, or if the co-living internet was already fast enough for video calls and downloads. Like, how many Mbps did you actually get there?

Man, I feel you on that. The co-living place had like 500 Mbps down, which was way more consistent than the random 50-100 Mbps I'd get at apartments where the signal would just drop during calls.
