Back in 2018 I used to hunt for WiFi in coffee shops before even ordering

I remember spending an hour scouting cafes in Lisbon just to find a spot with an outlet and decent signal, now I just pay for a coworking pass and show up. Somewhere around 2021 it clicked that losing two hours of work time to find free WiFi wasn't saving me any money. Anyone else feel like the whole digital nomad infrastructure shifted faster than we expected?

Same here. Once I added up what my time was worth per hour, hunting for free WiFi just felt stupid. Coworking passes are worth every penny just for the quiet and reliable connection.

My buddy Tom spent a whole afternoon bouncing between three different Bali cafes before his laptop died.
