Can we talk about the whole '5G towers cause birds to drop dead' thing

I kept seeing those posts on Facebook about 5G towers killing birds... someone in my neighborhood group shared a video claiming birds were falling out of the sky right after a tower went up near a park in Austin. I looked into it a bit and found out it's actually just timing - there's a study from 2021 showing bird migration patterns and weather radar picking up bats and stuff, not 5G causing harm. The tower went up in March but the video was from June during a heatwave that made birds look sluggish. Has anyone else had relatives sharing this one nonstop?

Honestly I feel like people are making this way bigger than it needs to be. Yeah the video looks scary but a heatwave making birds act weird is way more likely than some tower zapping them out of the sky. My uncle shares this stuff constantly and I just scroll past it because it's not like the government is hiding dead birds everywhere. If it were actually that dangerous there'd be piles of carcasses under every tower by now instead of just a few grainy clips online. Plus those Facebook groups love jumping on anything that sounds dramatic without checking the dates or weather records. It's exhausting to keep up with but also not really something worth arguing about at dinner.

My neighbor actually screenshotted that video to me. I'm still waiting for my brain cells to come back.
