Thought my cheap boots were fine until I walked 8 miles in them
Bought these $40 boots from a discount store thinking they'd hold up. After a full shift standing on concrete at the warehouse last Tuesday, my feet were killing me. One coworker let me borrow his Red Wings for a day and I couldn't believe the difference. Anyone else learned the hard way that gear quality actually matters?

Buddy of mine bought cheap work boots and ended up with a bad case of plantar fasciitis.

Right, because saving $40 on boots is totally worth not being able to walk for six months. Genius logic there.
