The one good day I had at the warehouse last November
We had a pallet jack break down and spent the whole shift just sitting around waiting for parts, boss didn't even pretend to find us busy work. Has anyone else had a surprise easy day like that, or does your place always find something to make you sweat?

Did they at least pay you for sitting around?

Read an article about those government shutdowns where some workers had to wait months for back pay. Apparently a lot of them just sat in lobbies scrolling their phones because there was literally nothing else to do. Some of them brought in board games and played cards in the break room. The best part was that managers couldn't even tell them to look busy since technically they weren't supposed to be working.
