The debate about staying vs. leaving hit me different after my uncle told me he stayed 30 years at a job he hated just for the pension.
He said the 401k match covered his car payments and that's why he never quit, but now he's 67 and says the regret over wasted time costs more than the money - has anyone else had an older relative make you rethink your own dead end situation?

Man, my uncle ate frozen pizzas for 20 years to save for a bass boat he used twice.
