Spent 45 minutes looking for my phone while I was talking on it
I was on hold with my bank (you know, the one that plays the same 3 songs on loop) and I literally tore my car apart looking for my phone for 45 minutes. Turns out I was holding it against my ear the whole time, just zoned out on their terrible hold music. Has anyone else had a brain fart that made you question your own intelligence?

Okay but "question your own intelligence" is a little strong, don't you think? I mean sure it's embarrassing (I once put my car keys in the fridge and spent an hour looking for them), but it's more like your brain just glitched out for a minute. We're not talking about forgetting how to breathe or something, it's just that hold music is designed to make you forget everything except how much you hate that song. I bet you actually found your phone pretty quickly once the bank picked up and you heard yourself talking, right?
