Found a literal gold tooth under a client's couch last Tuesday.
They didn't even know it was missing. Just shrugged and told me to keep it. Pawn shop gave me $80. Anyone else find something wild that made the grind worth it for a minute?

My buddy who cleans carpets found a sealed envelope with four hundred bucks in a foreclosed house. It's wild what gets left behind when people just... vanish from a place. Makes you wonder about all the little lost histories under every cushion.

Foreclosed houses usually get cleared out by the bank before any work starts. The cash was probably left by a contractor or another worker who came through after the owners were gone. Still a crazy find, but it's less about the family vanishing and more about the weird trail of people after them. Those houses see a lot of different hands before they're sold again.
