Dell vs Lenovo debate ended for me after one bad battery

I was always Team Lenovo for laptops, thought Dell was overpriced junk. Then my 2-year-old Lenovo started dying after 3 hours off the charger no matter what I did. My buddy's $600 Dell Inspiron still gets 8 hours after 4 years, so am I just unlucky or did I pick the wrong brand?

Oh man, you say that but I've had a streak of bad luck that makes me think there's more to it... My friend Dave bought the same exact phone as me on the same day, and his works perfectly fine while mine freezes up every time I try to open more than two apps. I swear it's like the universe just picks certain people to dump all the glitches on... I even tried swapping cases with him for a week to see if it was my unit or something, and his phone still ran smooth while mine kept crashing. Maybe it's just my bad karma or whatever, but I really feel like some of us get the short end of the stick no matter what we do.
