Pro tip: I stopped squeezing the tube and started rolling it from the bottom

Last month I noticed my tube of caulk was still half full but nothing was coming out the nozzle. I was squeezing the middle like an idiot for weeks. I finally rolled the bottom edge up tight like a toothpaste tube and got another 3 full beads out of it for my kitchen backsplash. It felt dumb that I never tried it before especially since I run a warehouse and we teach people to work from the back first. Has anyone else found a simple trick that made you feel like you wasted a bunch of material for no reason?

Wait, you got three full beads out of a tube that you thought was dead? That's crazy. I mean, I know caulk tubes always seem to have more in them than you think, but three whole beads sounds like a full extra tube's worth almost. Maybe it's just me but I woulda tossed that thing way before that point.

Does it count if I found out the hard way that you're supposed to shake a can of paint for way longer than you think? I stirred mine for 20 minutes and still had chunks when I painted my bathroom, felt like such a rookie move.
