Counterpoint: I actually prefer cold pizza over fresh out of the oven pineapple pizza.
My roommate and I had this debate last night while we were splitting a medium Hawaiian from Domino's. He grabbed his slice right when it came out, cheese still bubbling, and swore it was the only way. I waited 45 minutes until it sat in the fridge, then ate mine cold with a little extra oregano. The sweetness of the pineapple gets way milder when it's cold, and the crust gets chewy instead of soggy. I just find the flavors blend better after they've settled overnight or at least a few hours. Anyone else here team cold pizza for pineapple specifically?

Cold pizza is just better for most toppings honestly. It's like how chili or stew always tastes better the next day - flavors just need time to get to know each other.

Hell yeah, I'm with you on this one. My wife and I order a Hawaiian from our local joint maybe twice a month, and I always stash a couple slices in the fridge for the next morning. The cold pineapple loses that weird syrupy punch it has when it's hot, and the ham gets this firmer, almost jerky-like texture that I really like. Plus the cheese sets up so it doesn't slide off every time you take a bite. Cold pizza for the win, especially for Hawaiian.
