TIL I was clearing my browser cache wrong for like 3 years

I was trying to snag a limited promo code that kept showing as expired on my end. My buddy screenshotted it working on his phone and that's when I realized I never actually clear cookies, just history. Anyone else think they were doing it right this whole time?

Did you have to clear the cookies separately or just do it all at once...

I mean at least you figured it out eventually, I went a solid two years thinking my incognito mode was some kind of magic shield that deleted everything for me. Tried to show my mom how to clear her cache and she just stared at me like I was speaking another language. It's basically a rite of passage at this point, like realizing cookies are not the same as history. The worst part is when you finally do it right and suddenly a website loads in 2 seconds instead of 20.
