The day I stopped buying printer ink on sale
I was stocking up on those $30 ink cartridges from the clearance rack at Staples last month, thinking I was so smart. Then my buddy who works at a print shop told me the cheap ink on sale is often the old stock that's been sitting too long and can clog your print heads. Anyone else had ink dry up faster when you bought it on deal?

Learned that the hard way too, so now I only buy ink when my printer actually tells me it's low. I used to grab every sale deal I saw, but after wasting money on two dried-up clearance cartridges, I stopped stocking up entirely. Turns out my print shop friend was right, the fresh stock at regular price always lasts way longer and gives me full page counts. Honestly, saving a few bucks upfront just isn't worth the headache of cleaning clogged nozzles or chucking a dead cartridge in the trash.

lol "old stock that's been sitting too long" is actually real. I grabbed a bunch of HP ink on clearance at Walmart and two cartridges were completely dead out of the box. The rest gave me maybe half the pages they should have. Now I just buy the standard price ones when I actually need them instead of hoarding.
