Shoutout to the cashier who caught a double-charge on my receipt last night at the Home Depot on 3rd Street

I was standing there loading bags into my truck when I noticed she flagged a $47 charge that rang up twice for a single power drill, so now I always watch the register screen like a hawk before swiping my card - has anyone else caught a sneaky duplicate charge slipping through?

Huh, I gotta respectfully disagree here. It's nice the cashier caught it, but I wouldn't call it a shoutout moment. I've had duplicate charges slip through plenty of times at Home Depot, and it's always the same old story - their systems glitch or a lazy cashier doesn't check. Last month I bought a lawn mower and got charged twice for it, didn't notice until I checked my bank statement three days later. Had to waste an hour on the phone to get it fixed. So sure, she did her job right this one time, but it's not exactly earning a medal for catching what should never happen in the first place.
