Rant: How I wasted a year buying 'bulk' toilet paper from the wrong place

I used to grab those big packs at the grocery store thinking I was saving money, but last month I did the math and realized I was paying 20 cents more per roll than online at Sam's Club. My sister showed me her receipt and it just clicked that I never checked the unit price before. Has anyone else caught themselves overpaying on what feels like a good deal?

You said you never checked the unit price but what made your sister show you her receipt in the first place?

Let me jump in here, @black.jordan. Honestly, people get so worked up over a receipt these days like it's some kind of hidden scandal. Maybe her sister just happened to glance at it and noticed the price was off. Not everything has to be a big investigation, you know? I mean, unit prices matter if you're trying to save a buck, but sometimes it's just a simple "hey, that looks high" moment. Is it really worth diving this deep into it? What do you think, is this actually a bigger deal than I'm making it?
