My local grocery store has a secret clearance shelf I totally missed for years

I was at the Safeway on Elm Street yesterday and an employee told me they mark down meat 50% off every morning at 8am, but it sits in a small cooler near the deli counter that I always walk past. Turns out I've been paying full price for steaks and chicken when I could have been grabbing them for half the cost if I just showed up earlier. Anyone else have a hidden clearance section at their store that took them forever to notice?
