I chased a 50% off coupon for 2 hours, only to find out it expired yesterday

I was so excited to save $30 on that air fryer I've been eyeing, but when I finally dug up the code from an old email, the site said it expired at midnight. Did I waste my time, or does anyone else have a story about a deal that slipped through their fingers?

Last Black Friday I spent an hour hunting down a code for a blender and it was dead too, so now I always check the fine print on the email first before getting my hopes up lol. I screenshot the code and the expiration date right away so I know exactly when to use it. Definitely not a waste though, now you know to double check that expiration before you go digging.

Honestly I used to think screenshotting was overkill but you got me rethinking that now. I always just bookmarked the email and called it good but then stuff gets buried or I forget which one had the code. Screenshot seems way smarter cause its right there in your photos and you can set a reminder on it too. Making a habit of that sounds like it would save so much hassle next time.
