Finally gave up on price tracking apps after a $50 screwup
I used to swear by price trackers for everything. Last month one told me a blender was at its lowest price ever, so I bought it for $80. Two days later I saw the same blender at Target for $30 with a weekly ad coupon I missed. The app only tracks online prices, not in-store clearance or coupon stacks. Now I just check brick-and-mortar flyers and use one simple spreadsheet. Has anyone else caught an app giving bad intel on a deal?

Yeah that blender thing stings lol. I had a similar thing happen with a vacuum where the app said it was a "price drop" but it was actually just the same price it always was.

Is it just me or is everything these days designed to make you feel like you're getting a deal when you're actually just paying what things cost before they jacked the prices up?
