Am I the only one who thinks Prime Day is a total letdown now?
I spent all of last week hunting through Amazon Prime Day deals, and I walked away with nothing but frustration. Everything I had my eye on, like a basic kitchen stand mixer and a vacuum cleaner, was either marked up before the sale or sold out within minutes. A coworker bragged about saving $200 on a TV, but when I checked the price history, it was only $50 less than it was three months ago. I get that people love the excitement of it, but I think these big sales events are more hype than help. What really got me was the shipping delays on the few things I did order, and one item showed up damaged. Does anyone else avoid these mega sales days and just wait for random mid-week markdowns instead?

Completely agree with you on this. I fell for the same trap last year with a coffee maker that was supposedly 40% off, only to find it cheaper at Target two weeks later. The whole event just feels like a marketing trick to get us to buy stuff we don't need, and the damaged deliveries are the worst part.
