Thought foam rollers were a gimmick until I used one after a 12 hour shift behind the bar.
I always figured they were just overpriced pool noodles for posers, but now my back doesn't feel like a busted hinge the next morning so I'm asking - did foam rollers actually save anyone else from chronic aches or did you find something better that works?
Ha, a physical therapist posting online is about as reliable as a mechanic telling you your car needs a new engine. They always seem to have the cure for something that just happens to cost money and time. I bet that same guy sells a foam roller and a stretching program right on his page too.
