Oh man, that's a rough way to learn a lesson. I had a similar thing happen once, but with a dead battery in the middle of nowhere. You definitely start double checking everything after a situation like that.

Is it really that serious though? People act like forgetting one thing is the end of the world. You just call a buddy or find a jump, it's not like the car exploded.
