Pro tip: Swapped from a tape measure to a digital laser for apartment turnovers

Used to do all my unit measurements with a standard tape measure for carpet and blind orders. It took forever and I always had to remeasure because my readings were off by an inch or two. Last month I picked up a Bosch laser measure at Home Depot for around $60. Now I can stand at one end of the room, click, and get the exact length in seconds. It cut my measuring time per apartment from 20 minutes down to maybe 5. The first time I used it on a two bedroom unit I felt like I was cheating. Has anyone else made the switch and found their old method was way slower than they thought?
