Oh man, I know exactly what you mean... we had the same thing happen last month with the new two-factor setup. Our manager kept calling it a "quick update" and half the office ignored the emails. Come Monday morning, nobody could get into the project files... total gridlock for like three hours. It really does make you stop and see all those tiny security boxes you have to check in a whole new light. That little bit of annoyance feels like a lifesaver once you've lived through the alternative.

That "simple password reset link" line hits hard. I used to roll my eyes at all the security steps, figured it was just busywork. Watching a whole team get locked out over something so small changed my mind fast. Now I see those little steps as the only thing holding the chaos back. It's annoying until it's the only thing keeping your work day from falling apart.
