Switched to a password manager after ignoring it for 3 years
I finally gave in and set up Bitwarden last month after my work email got hit in a data breach for the third time. In just 30 days I went from using the same 3 passwords for everything to having 47 unique ones that actually make sense. Has anyone else noticed a big drop in spam or suspicious login alerts after making the switch?

Drop in spam" is probably just luck, not the password manager doing anything.

Three days after I switched to a new password manager and my spam folder dropped from 40 emails a day to maybe 4. But sure, just a coincidence i guess. If random luck can also make my inbox smell like fresh baked cookies and fix my car's check engine light while it's at it, I'd love to hear about it. Your argument is like saying putting on a seatbelt has nothing to do with surviving a crash, it's just luck you didn't fly through the windshield. Maybe those password managers are just charging us 30 bucks a year for the privilege of watching our spam filters get lucky. Nah, I'll stick with the thing that actually stopped working until I made the switch, thanks.
