Serious question, how much money did you waste on those flashy password managers before switching?
I spent $60 on a year of one of those big name password managers because their ads looked SO slick, only to find out it didn't even sync properly between my phone and laptop. Worst part is I lost access to a whole folder of saved logins for 3 days while support ghosted me. Has anyone else dumped cash on a tool that just didn't work for real life use?

Oh I have to push back on this a little. Look I get the frustration but $60 for a year is basically nothing when you think about what you're protecting. My passwords are literally the keys to my entire digital life and I want something that's actually secure not just something that looks secure. Those free browser based managers might work fine until they don't and then you're really in trouble. Your mileage may vary but I've had the opposite experience with the big names syncing perfectly across all my devices for years with zero issues.

Wait, you LOST access for three whole days? That's wild, I would have flipped my lid. I've never had that happen personally but that sounds like a total nightmare with the support ghosting on top of it.
